Amy Goldman is pleased to announce that her new book, The Heirloom Tomato, has been awarded the prestigious American Horticultural Society’s (AHS) 2009 Book Award.
Amy’s previous book, The Compleat Squash: A Passionate Grower’s Guide to Pumpkins, Squashes, and Gourds, was named the American Horticultural Society’s 2005 Book of the Year. It was also a James Beard Foundation Award Nominee.
Melons for the Passionate Grower, another of Amy’s publications has received much acclaim, including: The American Horticultural Society’s 2003 Annual Book Award; the Garden Writers Association of America 2003 Garden Globe Award of Achievement; James Beard Foundation Award Nominee/Reference Books category; and the International Association of Culinary Professionals nomination for Best Design.
